In celebration of Earth Day, BNI Ventures partners with PaperPods to launch a sustainability-driven initiative called Paper Waste to Plantable Purpose. The program focuses on transforming unused papers from banking activities into plantable paper; recycled paper embedded with seeds that can grow into plants when planted in soil. This effort aligns with BNI Ventures’ commitment to circular economy practices and promoting more responsible consumption habits.

 

Running from April 22th 2025 - April 21st 2026, the initiative invites BNI clients and debtors to participate by dropping off unused paper into specially designed drop boxes located at two BNI branches: Grha BNI (Jakarta Pusat) and Menara BNI (Senayan). Participants simply bring in their used banking paper and place it into the PaperPods dropbox on site.

 

The collected paper will then be processed by the PaperPods team into plantable paper — a meaningful second life for discarded materials that allows people to literally grow something green from their contributions. With this small act, BNI Ventures encourages everyone to take part in building a more sustainable future.

 

How It Works:

2. Drop your unused papers from banking activities into the PaperPods dropbox.
3. The papers will be collected and transformed into plantable paper — paper that can grow into plants when planted in soil.
