JAKARTADAILY.ID - PT BNI Venture Capital (BNI Ventures or BNV) has begun to spread its investment net. BNV has made its first investment in startup PT Millenio Amerta Data (Kecilin), a technology provider company in Indonesia. 

In a written statement in Jakarta, Monday (August 14, 2023), in March 2023, BNV made its first investment in startup Kecilin. This step is in line with the mandate of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI, as the parent company, which is to encourage the acceleration of digital transformation and innovation of the BNI group. 

In the same statement, BNV claimed to proactively accelerate the performance of placing business funds in investment instruments in the establishment period. Meanwhile, the company's total assets as of June 2023 were recorded at IDR 510.07 billion, consisting of current assets of IDR 493.55 billion and non-current assets of IDR 16.52 billion. 

Until June 2023, BNI Ventures managed to record a positive financial performance, where the EAT recorded was IDR 1.9 billion. 

BNV President Director Eddi Danusaputro said, the company strives to implement the right strategies and policies by placing business funds in safe investment instruments. 

Investments are also made in sectors that provide returns in line with the level of risk. In addition, the company is also proactive in improving business processes and good corporate governance. 

"We are grateful, despite only obtaining a business license from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in January 2023, we were able to take advantage of the momentum of improving performance in this early period of establishment. Of course, we will continue to explore the potential to maximize performance while continuing to make a positive contribution to the national venture capital industry," said Eddi in Jakarta, Monday (4 August 2023). 

Responding to the growth of the company that was just pioneered last year, Lugas Prancafitri as Finance Director of BNV emphasized that in the future BNV is ready to invest, as well as support synergy and innovation in the BNI Group. 

"This year, we have several investment pipelines that we hope to realize to continue to drive investment fund placement performance," he said. 

Kecilin provides compression technology that is smooth, efficient and applicable to modern technology models. The innovation we create is from the advancement of the internet which can be realized by increasing the availability of cheaper storage, high-quality display resolution, and good processing capabilities.
